But his wife looked back
from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
There is an action that can destroy a
whole destiny both as an individual and as a nation. The attitude of looking
back is becoming very common of recent both on spiritual and physical matters.
We are in a life journey and must form the attitude of remaining focused by
forgetting the past because your destiny is still ahead and can be recovered. Isaiah 43:18 Remember ye not the former things, neither
consider the things of old. Friends, many have turned into several
negative habits and have lost their lives by just looking back because not all
that glitter that is gold. So, let’s be
careful.
Amazingly, this was even after they
have been told by the angel, that Gods judgment was coming upon Sodom. Unfortunately,
we are in a generation of distractions which has made us act contrary to
purpose. Luke 17:32. Remember Lot’s wife. But,
we can remain focused and not to be moved by carnal things, if we must please God.
It is possible to live discipline as a lifestyle. Looking back is an act of
disobedience to God’s order at the burning city of Sodom which she paid dearly
for it with this punishment of becoming a salt. Let’s learn not return back to
our vomit as believers. Remember, the outcome of your action can make a
negative generational impact therefore let’s look up to the master in all
ramifications in Jesus name.

1. Father help us not to fall in the hand of
God for it is a fearful encounter just because of disobedience in Jesus name.
