Sound of Praises

Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises unto our King, sing priases.

Happy New Month of April. Congratulations, we are here again

Friends, no one can praise God better than you that passed through the fire. This is not a moment of prayer request but prayer of praises.  We must be grateful to God for His love and kindness he has shown to us. If we can think, you will know it is the grace of God that led us all through this first quarter of 2023. But, the question is, what can we render to this good God in all the unseen battles he fought on our behalf? The scripture above have given us a prescription to “sing praises” to our God. This is one thing he cannot do to himself but He expects us as human to return appreciation to Him in different ways. But, the Singing and praising God is talking about must not be with special tune or a professional style. But, God rather weighs our minds and expects a genuine and heartfelt praises with understanding and reflection of His ceaseless love and not the tune of singing but intimate understanding of who God is.   You can even sing with a cracked voice and your mother tongue, but God understands all but searches our heart of praises. You have to look out for reasons to praise this good God. It is not even a time to display countenance or our dispositions rather a combination of both physical and spiritual force.

Interestingly, this is not also a season to murmur because of unaccomplished expectations but a reflection of His faithfulness by counting your benefits in the time past. Psalm 103:1-2 Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits.  So, I urge you never to hide the goodness of God in your life.  It is only when you think you can truly sing genuinely to the glory to God in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.Oh Lord, thank you for subduing battles beyond my strength and my intelligence and help me to sincerely give God all the praise in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, we can only give God praises intentionally, if you must subdue the enemy.
