Text: Psalm 27:1 (KJV)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I
fear? the Lord is
the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
We
must have noticed that the earth has been bathed with darkness, and thankfully
by the grace of God, we are to shine our light. John 8:12- Then spake Jesus again
unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not
walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The fact that we carry light gives us
confidence to go through any thick darkness. The amazing part of us being the
light is that, we have the power to overcome any level of thick darkness in any
situation in life. The issue is that many of us are not conscious of the light
that we carry, and these results in us being worn out and
scared when challenges come, but we are meant to embrace more light by our
studious encounters with the word.
Interestingly, not only does this light bring
confidence to walk in darkness and challenges, but it also reflects our beauty
and dignity. Due to the fact that it overshadows darkness, it brings warmth to
our lives, and that in turn, reflects our beauty. This light in us also brings
direction to those closed pathways, and we end up enjoying the victory. Psalm 119:105- Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my
path. We can enjoy more benefits of this light when we meditate
on His word daily. So I urge you to stop being scared of the future because the
light in you can banish even the darkness of the future, so rejoice.
PRAYER POINT:
1.
Father, please help us to always hold unto
God as our stronghold in faces of oppositions that comes as darkness, in Jesus
name.
ACTION QUOTE: You can activate a new level of light that the enemy cannot
stare at you any longer.
