God's Special Provision

 

Text : Dan1:5

And the king appointed them a daily provision of the kings meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

There is an appointment that takes one to the palace triumphantly. This is a level of noiseless breakthrough where your effort is not needed. Christ qualifies us without our labour but we need to make a choice because of our faith. They purposed in their heart not to defile themselves with the king meat. See Genesis 41:46 about Joseph. We need to be careful with abundance and new levels because next levels can also be next devils. Let us humble ourselves and learn the purpose of that appointment.

Interestingly, for the Hebrew boys, they were being prepared for the journey ahead and did not fail God but drew nations, kingdom to worship the God of Daniel.  The appointment qualified them for the following - daily provision of the king's meat and wine for 3 years.  The appointment was a full package of enjoyment. Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the lord; who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. The result was a better countenance fatter, fairer, well favoured and tender love which distinguished them from others just because of right choice of faith. Friends, the glory is better than the denials which can bring you before Kings. They were 10 times better than others. Let us read in between lines in the face of honours and new titles, so we don't loose our thrown to carelessness rather let us be sensitive to Gods divine appointment in Jesus name

- Oh Lord may we be equipped with unique and special abilities as to stand before king's in our fields in Jesus name.
