Text: Ezra 5:2 (KJV)
Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of
Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalam: and with
them were the prophets of God helping them.
Do
you know that God is rebuilding you to be His temple? Many temples have been
abandoned and need reconstruction to become useful and habitable. Ask yourself
this question: Is His temple (you) still intact, or do you need a proper
fitness before the Master can use you? We are his temple, and He is ready to
preserve us since His Spirit lives in us. Most of the time, we have experienced
so many damages around us which require our wall or temple to be rebuilt. God
does not want our bodies to be destroyed; He is always present and ready to
destroy all the external forces who wish to vandalize us so that we do not get
corrupted with the false doctrines. He
can visit other places, but he dwells and permanently in you so keep His sacred
temple sacred. Let us not carelessly chase Him out. 2Corinthians
6:16- And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the
temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in
them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. He does not
amend the body alone but the spiritual, emotional, financial, intellectual part
of you. What part are you in?
Certain
times, policies and regulations are issued to hinder what God is set to do in
our lives but it cannot stand. Furthermore, in our text of today, we can see
that the people with authority were angry about the great things the children
of God were doing to the temple. They even asked who gave the permission or
authority to rebuild and to restore the temple. They knew that the resources
were available, but they were just trying to hinder God’s work. God is set to
do a new thing, but some authorities are trying to challenge them. So, always
remember, all you need to rebuild are available, just look deeper. We must
always be careful not to hinder God’s divine agenda for our lives. Ephesians 2:21-22- In whom all the building fitly framed together
growth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together
for an habitation of God through the Spirit. The good news is that the
eye of the Lord is upon us and is ever-ready to stop those trying to hinder His
works in us (His temple) in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1)
Father, thank you for what you are doing with the assurance that the evil one
cannot stop us despite all their authority against me in Jesus name.
ACTION
QUOTE: Friends, there is a helper by your side sent just to repair
the broken part of the temple..
