Reliable God

 

Text: Hebrews 6:18 (KJV)

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

In life,we encounter people on a daily basis who make promises, but they always fail to keep their promises. We do not learn from our mistakes, but instead we make more mistakes. We need to change those habits, and by doing so, we can encounter the one who can never neverfail or go back on His word, who is God. He is an immutable God, which means He is unchanging from generation to generation. Malachi 3:6- For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.The truth is, seasons and times change, but He never changes. Hebrews 13:8 (ERV) - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.If you still doubt this great God, you can search the scriptures and trust God for personal experience about Him, and you will see that His words are reliable and dependable. Keep holding on Him because He is more than reliable in Jesus  name.

Beloved, we should anchor our soul on his steadfastness and be assured of his capacity.Romans 11:29-For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.We need to be confident in Him, and hold fast to His words. Also, we need to have the singleness of our minds so as to receive the promise and let our heartsbe rooted in His words so that we do not waver due to the pressures of this world.God will help us, in Jesus name.

1.Father, please help us not to doubt your promises in the scriptures no matter the obvious reasons in Jesus name.
