DOUBLE Honours

 

Text: Isaiah 61: 7(KJV)

For your shame ye shall have double, and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting Joy shall be unto them

There is no more negative end over that concern from the scriptures above but honours.Challenge has become the order of the day but the good part is that there is an everlasting joy that awaits us ahead.  We should not allow the very many stories that we hear to affect our confidence because we are not all the same.  Also, that you have heard ofsimilar case that ended on the negative obviously is not you. So don’t claim it rather yours will turn to a double positive experience. But the good news is from our textof today the Lord assures us that God is giving us double honours instead of disgrace as an inheritance in Jesus name AMEN.  Remember, what you are going through, the bible calls it light affliction. Relax, you will smile again. 1Sam.1:5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion: for he loved Hannah: but the Lord had shut up her womb.

Friends, Jesus conveys beauty and rejoicing in place of ashes. Just don't over bother yourself because all the double doses of trouble will turn toyou for good. What you arepassing through is training you to gain practical knowledge. Amazingly, there is God's portion allocated for you as he will settle us after we have suffered for a while. 1Peter.5:10b ...after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  Relax in JESUS name.

1.       Father, grant us everlastingJoyand glory in place of shame as we stand strong in Jesus name.
