Text: 1 Peter
1:3 (KJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a
lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
There is an inheritance attached to us as believers which is
gotten by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
We are to live lively and never moody as believers The amazing part of
this attitude is that you wake up so confident and determine not to be moved by
the situations that life brings your way, hope basically strengthens you. This
behavior makes you to live lively because you always remember His unperishable,
incorruptible and unfading promises. 1 Peter1:4- To an
inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in
heaven for you. We should learn to live a life full of active living or
a life full of hope. Due to the resurrection of Jesus, we have a new life that
is so refined. This new life is both here on earth and in heaven, and it is
actually part of our calling. DO NOT ALLOW
EMPTY HOPE WHICH LEADS TO DEPRESSION.
Once we have this attitude activated in our lives, everything
that seems like a dead hope comes to life. This also goes for those low moments,
you end up hopeful again. The truth
about life is that many people are alive physically, but they are dead elsewhere,
because of their dead hope. So, I urge you to live excitedly and full of hope
as you remember, there is glory and joy ahead. Luke
24:26- Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his
glory? Let’s provoke that dead hope to a living hope; even if the
situations around you does not make you happy, create happiness for yourself by
seeing God’s unfading love. I pray our expectations will no longer remain as
hope, but it will become a tangible reality in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.
Father,
please give me an understanding of your promises upon my life that will keep my
hope alive in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE:
Friends, if your hope is in God, then you should
not allow a low moment.
