The Influential YOU.

 

Text: Genesis 2:7 (KJV)

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Remember, you are an influence in any location. Do not underestimate your impact because there is an aspect of you that is powered by the breath of God for your world of today.There are so many kinds of influences but we can decide to be the positive influence because many others are negative.  The truth is that, we see a lot of people under the influence of drugs, drinking and wrong friends, but the most powerful influence anyone can ever experience is that of the Holy Spirit. I tell you, it is one of a kind. From our scripture above, we can see that the Lord's breathe is the Spirit impact for influence upon us which can happen by intimacy. We are meant to use this Spirit to impact others positively also; it can be through our love, our words and dressing. This Spirit is actually our strength as believers. The Holy Spirit is so amazing, and it does great impact by influencing our minds into doing right things onlybut He purifies our thoughts from evil. John 3:6- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. I tell you, the difference between a believer and an unbeliever is the presence of the Holy Spirit and we are meant to utilize Him. For us to enjoy Him to the fullest, we need to have a revelation of His personality.

Interestingly,Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit our teacher and a comforter John 14:26- But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Our new birth in Christ influences our carnal mind into the spirit of Christ and this is by the help of the Holy Spirit. We need to keep yielding ourselves to the word of God and prayers especially bypraying in tongues, for us to experience this change.Jude 1:20- But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. I tell you, it is by the influence of the Spirit that the changes we are all waiting for can take place and this means that the Spirit is a quickening spirit. So, I encourage you to keep praying for the Spirit to influence your mind, so that you can manifest His nature in your physical and spiritual life today.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh Lord, help up to yield our mortal bodies to theleading of Holy Spirit, so as to pick divine signals, in Jesus name.

2. Father, open my eyes to the new chapter youhave opened  that I might be ablessing to  others, so as to bear the fruits of righteousness, in Jesus name.
