Text: Jeremiah 30:17 (The Message)
As for you, I’ll come with healing, curing the
incurable, Because they all gave up on you and dismissed you as hopeless— that
good-for-nothing Zion.
I know that our minds are going through a lot of battles which are
depressing and we are crying for help, but our text above is given us an
assurance to those quests by saying “there is hope”. If you notice, the text
specifically said “as for you” and that indicates a promise which is going to
be our portion, in Jesus name. Many at times, the reason why our minds are
going through those battles is because we tend to look at things from a
physical point of view, but we need to change that attitude. We are meant to
look at things with the eyes of the scriptures because once you do that, you
end up seeing deeper than those situations and you will see the hope despite
the evil happenings. I tell you, there is more to what we see, so we should not
get frustrated with our present views, but instead draw closer to God and see
beyond.
The truth is, God is our hope and we
should not forget that due to our present happenings. We should always remember
there is hope. Job 14:7- For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down,
that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Our text above says, He is curing the incurable, which means those
closed cases can still receive breath again, so do not give up. God is doing a
thorough renovation in our lives and once He is done you will be shocked at the
great works that you will exhibit. Psalm
126:1- When
the Lord turned
again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.So this is not a time to be hopeless or stubborn, instead rejoice
because this great specialist of hard matters is on your case and He will turn
your shame to a testimony, in Jesus name, Amen.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Oh Lord, may this present case bring
glory to your name even when they have dismissed it as hopeless, in Jesus name.
2. Father, please fill my heart with
hope, so as to be full of Joy, in Jesus name.
