Text: Ephesians
4:6-7 (KJV)
One God and father of all, who is above all,
and through all, and in you all. But unto every
one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
The
sovereignty of God is bestwhen experienced. We can plan all our strategies and
set our schedule, but God is above
all and we must give Him His seat of authority. God is the answer to all our problems put
together, so it is wise to plan with his consent. He is exceeding abundantly
above all we ask or think, He is the superior being controlling the whole
universe and He turns it the way He wants it to go. He is working throughout
the earth, He is in the heavens, and He sees far and sees all. Whatever exists
around us is a reflection of God’s love overall, so let us put God first as our
number one priority. This should reflect in our concept of worship and devotion
towards God. We should thank Him for his sovereignty
by understanding “His Will,” which is explained in His Word. We should also
discipline ourselves for a close fellowship with Him for His nature to rob on
us and transform us. In our environment, we should create an attitude of ‘GOD
OVERALL’ mentality. He desires continuous fellowship; that is why when Adam
lost it in the Garden of Eden, we saw God's punishment. There is a need to
develop a genuine relationship with God as a priority above all, as we are God's
business of the day.
We are surrounded by so many things that strive to replace
God in our lives. Do you wake or sleep off by your devicewithout a communion with GOD? We should learn to
report a matter to God first since God is above all in your life. If you put God first, it will soon show up as you make
Him your expert professional adviser. He rules over all in heavens, earth, and
beneath the surface, so where else is our habitation. Philippians 2:9- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him,
and given him a name which is above every name. There is no competitor
with him, only align yourself with him. It is an attitude that
will crown your efforts to excellent and peaceful success. We are like a pen in
the hand of God,therefore He is in charge of all.His throne is higher and more
excellent than all; therefore, we should stand with Him. He is overall and has
the power to change all things in season and out of season. He establishes and
makes all things well in his time.Judges8:23- And
Gideon said unto them I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over
you: the Lord shall rule over you”. As we
surrender to God, there will be victory in all, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1) Father, do a thing in my life that people may know thatYou ruleth in my affairs, in Jesus name.
2) Oh Lord, may your glory and your great mercybe seen above all of our endeavors, in Jesus name
