Zealous of good things.

 

Text: Titus 2:7a (KJV)

In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity. 

Unfortunately, the now generation is too busy but to the wrong pattern of task. There is a strong and energetic desire towards getting things done faster and wrong but as believers, we should make a difference as we conduct ourselves for good. People are getting serious into pursuit for selfish interest which is affecting the society at large. God requires us having passionate energy towards a purpose. Everyone is so occupied which is characterised towards negative achievement. This ought not to be so in the life of a believer. We are to show a pattern of good works in all our endeavours. The world could show corruptness but we are to show sincerity to action. Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a trèe planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also shall not wither: and whatsoever he doeth shall propser.  We are to lay right operational system that will provoke a huge followers to Christ.  We are to speak out and act out as Gods role models for this generation. We must be the remnant for a God filled life. We should be the template of good things for other to copy. We should not allow any one to look down on the gospel message because of our behaviour. So, we should live a disciplinary life as to be zealous of good things.

Interestingly, God did not rapture us immediately we gave our lives to Christ, rather he left us to showcase Jesus around us by living the redemptive life practically here on earth. 1Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. We should not live a weird life by joining this perverse generation. The world is looking for God within the brethren. May you be the one that will guide slaves into royalty by positive influence. We are now a public figure to show Gods nature and image. We are to offer from a dark, rebellious life to good by the zeal of the Lord. Friends, let us live a life that Jesus will be proud of us in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINTS: 

1. Oh Lord, help.us to live a life that men will not put Christ down by our pattern of living in Jesus name.

2. Father, give us the grace to teach the young ones a sound doctrine and family lifestyle in Jesus name.
