Text: Nehemiah 4:8-9 (KJV)
8 And
conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to
hinder it. 9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our
God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
Several things are happening around us and we need to be
careful. We being alert will help us not to be sleeping when all those
happenings occur. We know that God is doing so many great things for us, but
the enemy has seen what God is doing, and he is plotting evil and stirring up
trouble. The good news is his plan will not succeed because God is in charge.
Many at times, the devil uses the people around us to conspire against God’s
plan and they felt like they have won, but the truth is the God which is for
you cannot be predicted and He is working in those bridges and walls of your
life, and He will definitely restore all that you have lost. Deuteronomy 30:3a- God, your God,
will restore everything you lost.
The greatest danger that any man can face is sleeping and not been
sensitive. The scripture says in Matthew 13:25- But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares
among the wheat, and went his way. This means even as God does not sleep or slumber,
the devil also does not, he is going to and fro looking for who to sow tares
on. So this tells us we need to be sensitive and never to get distracted
because the moment we are not alert or focused, he will sow his evil seed.
Although, we have God on our side, we should not be careless with life because
the devil is so persistent and he does not give up. I encourage you to be
focused and sensitive because that great assignment given to you by God, the
devil has conspired against it, but by God’s grace, those conspiracy has been
averted, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, please let my eyes only be on the call and the
assignment of God upon my life, in Jesus name.
2. Oh Lord, please distract my enemy from distracting me by giving
them assignment with busy schedule, in Jesus name.
Action Quote: Be confident in God because He has averted all conspiracies.
