Strong FAITH don’t Stagger

 

Text: Romans 4:20(KJV)

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

The truth is, God’s promises over His children are not magic tricks but instead they are prophesies which will come to fulfillment if one believes. Our scripture of today tells us that father Abraham did not stagger or waver through unbelief, but instead he stood strong in faith which is a vital action for God’s children to partake in. Also, when we waver in faith, we do not receive God’s promises and we even end up dwelling in our troubles of life even more. Definitely, there will be negative realities but still in those low moment of life, we need to still hold unto God because He is not a man that will go back on His words. We need to remember that God’s promises are not based on our current matters neither are they based on man’s capacity, but they are based on the greatness and ability of our God. Ezekiel 12:28- Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God. So I encourage you not to limit your faith to natural events because God who has made those promises can subdue and defeat those concerns with their natural laws. James 1:6-But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Amazingly, the God which we have as our Father does not forget us in distress and neither has His promises ever failed in the past, so I encourage you to be rest assured because His promises are based on the future and He is the God who knows the end from the beginning, so believe in Him with all your heart and see His promises come to fulfillment. Do not allow your small mind to limit you, or try to focus on your impotency, but instead continue to be strong in faith and never waver. Remember, God knows those circumstances that is why He went ahead to give you His promises, so do not be intimidated but instead confront your concerns. 

PRAYER POINTS: 

1.Father, help us to have an unwavering faith in the capacity of our God especially when there is no visible evidence, in Jesus name.

2.Oh Lord, may I not be moved and steadily agitated by the issues of life because I have received your commandment to bless, in Jesus name.
