You are raised

 

Text: Romans 8:11 (KJV)

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

We know life tends to surprise us sometimes by seeing all our efforts go down the drain, but our scripture of today tells us there is a quickening Spirit in us, and amazingly, this Spirit is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. That means even if we may be or have experienced any downfall, this quickening Spirit will raise us. To be more specific, there will be a restoration, but we need to allow this Spirit to take over our souls for this to occur. The truth is that this Spirit's influence in our lives not only stimulates a restoration, but it also changes our story like literally, we will never experience that or any downfall again. Romans 8:15- For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Who can imagine, just allowing this amazing Spirit of God to take over could turnaround one’s story? This Spirit's power is unexplainable, and the force behind it cannot be withstood, but once it is experienced, one never remains in the same position. The fact that we have accepted or allowed this Spirit into our lives means that He will demonstrate His ability in us. 1 Corinthians 6:14- And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. This also means we are not the same; we are greater than we can ever imagine. This should make us realize that because this Great Spirit raised Jesus from the grave, no situation we may be facing is difficult for Him. So I encourage you to allow this Spirit into your life, and as you do so, you will see all your grave situations come to life in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Oh Lord, may this same Spirit that quicken Jesus from the dead, which is in me, also quicken my mortal body and Spirit from ugly situations, in Jesus name.

2.      Father, as we were raised with Christ from the dead, may we also walk into a new life of glory, in Jesus name.
