From the Bush to your Anointing

Text: 1 Samuel.16:11 (KJV)

And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.

One of the greatest privileges we have from God is that when it is our set time, distance can never be a barrier to that blessing. Note, the instruction which is an honour to the youngest, “no one will sit down till he come.” That so-called distance turns around to become an advantage, and this is something we should be thankful for. In our text of today, David was in the field when the servant of God, Samuel came to anoint the one chosen by God, but the best part is that since he was chosen by God, they had to send someone to fetch him. He was in the bush, all of his family members and Samuel had to wait (they were even standing) until David came. Psalms 78:70- He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds. This testimony is coming our way, in Jesus name. The truth is that David was in his training process, and he did not give up there. He did that assignment given to him wholeheartedly, and God saw his efforts and anointed him. So I urge you not to give up on that assignment because it is leading you to your anointing.

God actually prepares that bush experience you might be going through, and He is doing that so that you can come out fully equipped and you will shame the devil. Beloved, you will come out in a hurry to the anointing. Psalms 23:5- Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. God saw that David was prepared enough, and He anointed him to rule over His people; when David was doing that assignment, he never knew that the Lord had chosen him as the new King, so be patient. Frankly speaking, we do not understand what God has or is planning until He reveals it to us, but I encourage you to see that bush experience as a stepping stone or a training ground to your blessing and never forget to praise Him in that experience. Also, never forget that this anointing is not small, but it is running over that means it is in excess, so endure that bush experience because YOUR SET TIME IS NOW. AMEN.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh Lord, wherever I have been forgotten, may my set time speedily bring me out, in Jesus name.

2. Father, please strengthen me to go through my process so that I can arrive at my anointing in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Always remember that God sent you to that location for preparation. So stop complaining.
