Text: Psalm 81:10 (KJV)
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Friends, sometimes we limit what we expect from God because of past disappointments, delays, or difficult experiences. We begin to settle for less because we are afraid to hope again. But God reminds us that He is the same God who delivered Israel from Egypt and provided for them in the wilderness, that He is at work, today. Perhaps you are facing a situation that seems too difficult or praying for something that appears impossible. I encourage you, do not allow your present circumstances to make you doubt God's ability. Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Interesting, we must learn to trust God for more. It is not because everything will happen exactly as you desire, but because He is faithful, powerful, and knows what is best for you. Isaiah 54:2- Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes. The lesson is that we should form the habit of making room in faith for what God is able to bring into our lives. You can open your heart, pray with expectation, and leave the outcome in His hands for His grace is sufficient for all. As we pray, God is able to even exceed what you can imagine or think today in Jesus name.
Prayer Point:
Father, help me to trust You for more as you remove every fear and doubt that limits my expectations, and help me believe in Your unlimited power, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Action Quote: Always remember, when your circumstances say “not possible,” let your faith say, “God is able.”
