Text: Isaiah 54:2 (KJV)
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.
Friends, God wants us to make room for what He is able to do. Sometimes disappointment, delay, or past failures can cause us to reduce our expectations and settle for less. But God says, “Enlarge the place of thy tent.” This is a call to increase our faith and make room for new possibilities. If you have been praying about your family, career, finances, ministry, or future, and your expectations have become small because of what you have experienced, God is reminding you that your past does not determine the limits of His power. Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Amazingly nothing is too difficult for God to do. He can open doors you never imagined, create opportunities where there seemed to be none, and bring beauty out of seasons that looked hopeless. Jeremiah 32:27 declares, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” Do not allow yesterday’s disappointments to dictate today’s expectations. Rather, enlarge your vision, strengthen your faith, and continue trusting God. So, expect Him to work, while surrendering the outcome to His perfect will. He is able to do more than you can see, imagine, or understand in Jesus name.
Prayer Point:
Father, enlarge my faith and my expectations as I make room for what You want to do in my life and remove every limitation created by fear, and disappointment in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Action Quote: Friends, do not let past disappointments shrink your expectations but enlarge your faith and make room for what God can do.
