Text: John 6:19 (KJV)
So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus
walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.
Friends, what is impossible with men is always
possible with God if only we can walk with Him. The disciples were terrified
because the sea was troubled and the storm seemed beyond human control. Then
suddenly, Jesus appeared walking on the very thing that threatened them. The
waves that frightened the disciples were under the feet of Jesus. This reveals
the greatness of our God, He is never defeated by the situations that defeat
men. What looks impossible to you today is still under the authority of God. Luke 1:37 says, “For with God nothing shall be
impossible.” Sometimes we face situations that appear too difficult:
financial struggles, sickness, closed doors, disappointment, delays, or family
battles. Yet, the God we serve walks on impossible situations as though they
are nothing. He is not limited by natural laws, human opinions, or difficult
circumstances.
Amazingly, God often reveals His power most
strongly in situations where human strength fails completely. When there seems
to be no way forward, God steps in to demonstrate that He alone is the
Almighty. Exodus 14:21 tells us how God parted the Red Sea for the children of
Israel when escape looked impossible. Likewise, Matthew
19:26 says, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are
possible.” Therefore, never allow fear or doubt to convince you that
your situation is hopeless. The same Jesus who walked on the stormy sea is
still able to walk into your situation today. He can make a way where there is
no way, bring help when all hope seems lost, and turn impossibilities into
testimonies. Jeremiah 32:27 declares, “Behold, I am
the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” I
encourage you to trust God beyond what your eyes can see, hold firmly to His
promises, and remember that no storm, challenge, or impossibility is greater
than the power of God, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, help me to trust You in every impossible situation and let Your power
make a way for me where there seems to be no way, in Jesus’ name.
Action Quote: Friends, the situation that looks
impossible to you is only another pathway for God to reveal His power and
glory.
