Standing on God’s Promises

Text: Jeremiah 29:11(KJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

Friends, as believers we should not struggle with obeying God’s instructions rather rely on His promises and not circumstances. Yes, we stand firm, unmovable with absolute confident by choosing to trust His Word above what we see or the experiences we go through.  We should learn to act based on God’s promises which strengthens our confidence in His character. It is His promises that gives direction when life seems uncertain. It keeps us unshakable in faith no matter the bad news, your heart remain steadfast at all times. Romans 10:17 So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. For instance God promised Abraham a son despite old age. He believed, acted on it and the promise came to pass. Today, we can receive grace to be patience, in faith, and boldly act according to His promises.

Amazingly, when challenges arise, God’s promises are our anchors as His Word does not return unfulfilled. Isaiah 55:11- God’s Word does not return void; it accomplishes what He intends. Therefore, it is important we search His Word to discover God’s promises that relates to different areas of our lives, like His divine provisions. His protections, His guidance, His healing and deliverance as His promises are outlined in the bible. Hence, they are endless as His promises shall not cease even unto the end of the age. I pray we shall be strengthen in our belief through the promise of God, today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Heavenly father, help me to remain unshakeable on the promise of God instead of doubt in the midst of delays for His Word is Amen in Jesus name.
