What has thou?

 

Text: 2 Kings 4:2 (KJV)

And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

Friends, if you look inward you will realize, there is yet an endowment within you but all you need is to see ahead. It might not be available for multiplication, if you look ordinarily. The truth is, there is something remaining that thou has inside of us, and God needs it as a raw material to bring about that expectations. The basic materials are around us but we need to be conscious of the details for the new. Unfortunately, several people have ignored the little they have, without giving it any value. Hence, most times the miraculous are embedded in our obedience to instruction as the keys are hidden in the command. Proverbs 20:27-The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the innermost parts of his heart.  God always lives us with His nature that is present within and around us. So, if you are feeling empty, remember there is a residue of God’s seed in you, only recognize the significance.

Amazingly, the good news is to learn to look inward as to tap from the internal for they are common. This is possible if we determine to hold on God and focus. Therefore, watch out for those little things you need to spark up for the miracle. Job14:9-Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. Unfortunately, many don’t see it but the very first step in any idea is available without any effort, just like there was a pot of oil right in the house of the woman from the scripture above, without her knowing it was a seed. Therefore, see what you have as a raw material because there is a huge miracle in you today in Jesus name.

1. Father, help me to see the abilities that are forgotten, as to ignite power for the miraculous in Jesus name.
