Strive for high prize

 

Text: Philippians 3:14 (KJV)

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Friends, we are all in a race pressing to achieve heights but everyone on their own lane. Unfortunately, many have gotten to a point where they think they have arrived. But the good news is that excellence is always ahead because the more you know him, the more you encounter the prize of His high calling as the runner’s satisfaction is to be able to get to the end of the race with an award.  2Timothy 4:7- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Therefore, let’s run and forget the achievement of now as to see beyond the barriers.

Amazingly, Christ’s calling is the ultimate height, so we must treasure it with great value and preserve it by all means. Indeed, if you hold on to what you already have, you may not grow beyond your current level as there are greater heights ahead. Remember, God’s calling is not to despise us but to elevate us into a new glory. Therefore, to identify your new area of exploits in your calling, you need to search for the required knowledge in that area. So, I encourage us to press into a new light in scriptures as to walk into our higher calling in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, take us to a new level of understanding, so we can see beyond the limitations in our walk with God in Jesus name.
