Text: 2 Corinthians 5:20 (KJV)
Now then we are ambassadors
for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead,
be ye reconciled to God.
Friends, each countries have ambassadors as their
representatives in other countries, so it is with the Lord, because He has sent
us to representative Him in various societies and fields. We are sent into
wherever we find ourselves in to represent our heavenly kingdom and also sent
to represent Jesus here on earth, as our citizenship is in heaven. The amazing
part about being an ambassador is that your country sponsors you, same with us
as ambassadors of Christ. This opportunity makes us as believers have a higher
privilege, but we must remember to fulfill our primary responsibility which is
to represent the kingdom's goal accurately. We are Christ diplomat and we are
meant to be promoters of heaven. The best part is that all our request and
needs always come in abundance and there is no delay. Philippians 4:19- But my God shall supply all
your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.Therefore,
represent him well and enjoy His ambassadorial packages and remember you lose
the benefits immediatelyyou leave your position.
As Christ representative, we should speak boldly
because utterance is given to us. Ephesians 6:19-20- And for me, that utterance may be given
unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the
gospel. For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly,
as I ought to speak. You are a citizen of heaven, but also an
ambassador here on earth, so do not forget that. Brethren, operate as one and
know who you are in this kingdom. Your code of conduct must align with the kingdom
you represent. I pray we shall not lose our ambassadorship, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1.Father,
please help me to understand that I am not an ordinary member of the kingdom
but an ambassador of Christ, in Jesus name.
