Text: 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV)
But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
If you remember the Joy that is
set before us, you will learn to endure the stress now, nothing last forever. There is a moment of
suffering which brings forth birth, not just perfection, but also
establishment, strength and after that settlement. Your pain of today is a
ladder for your crown tomorrow, do not give up. There is always an expiring date for every product. For Jesus, the moment of suffering and trials
came to an end on the cross and He said “It is finished”. Note, no matter the
thickness of the midnight, the next minute is a morning, which is anew dawn. God
assures us there is a point of resolving any dispute and confusion, and also a
while can be any moment soon. All that Job went through came to a halt and his
later end was much better than the beginning. God brings you to a level which
is better than where you were before. That suffering is for a moment, it will
not last forever. It will not be too long, before our generous God settles us.
The delays and wickedness of the enemy are brief, no matter how long.
Psalms
90:4- For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. He is not late with his promises in the way
we measure lateness. He is always on time but is patient with us and does not
want anyone to perish; thus, what we consider as a delay is a RIGHT TIMING for
Him. Do not push yourself to go ahead of His schedule because those delays may
be a blessing in disguise in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1) Lord, please we need the grace to stand firm, so as to pass through this moment without drifting from the faith, in Jesus name.
Action Quote: Remember, you can wake up to see a testimony
and no more a challenge.
