Building Yourself Up

 

Text: Jude 1:20 (KJV)

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Do you know you can build yourself up to become an edifice for attraction with a difference? We know that in our world of today, so much effort is put into making a beautiful structure or building. Most of the time, they have to demolish or pull down an existing building, or they have to start from the foundation to make the building what it is today. The same goes for us as children of God, because we have to allow the demolition of our existing or old self for the glorious and beautiful building to stand. The amazing part is that due to the fact that we have God, our building has so much value and worth attached to it; it is not an ordinary one even better than a skyscraper. It says in Colossians 2:7- Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. So, always remember you can build yourself up to be that great and outstanding tool, but you just need a grounded faith in God.

Interestingly, you can attract global recognition by having relevant spiritual build ups such as personal quiet time, fasting plan, Bible study plan, fellowships, hearing of sermons, etc. They all help you to grow in grace and this results in you having deep knowledge about Jesus, it says in 2 Peter 3:18- But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.The truth is that, this spiritual build ups affect all aspects of your lives (physical, mental, financial, emotional, which is a complete healthy person for a balance life). Unfortunately, most people think that these spiritual exercises are hard or difficulty, but you just need the help of the Holy Spirit to accomplish all. So, I urge you to rely on the Holy Spirit, and see that your impossible building become a point of attraction in Jesus name.

1.      Father, progress my daily personal relationship with You as to become an edifice for evangelical tool in Jesus name.
