The Resurrection Appearance

 

Text: Mark 16:9 (KJV)         

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdelene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

This is not a time to have faith without action. The resurrection season should live you with a definite encounter that should be a memorial to all.  Mary Magdelene was the first person Jesus appeared to after resurrection and she shared to others but many did not believe. Friends, it is time for physical appearance with our risen saviour. We need tangible faith to believe his appearance, if not we will doubt like others but with encounters plus experiences that we can see or touch we shall believe. This is a very remarkable incident in history. She is the one that dropped resurrection narrative to the small group. Notwithstanding the fact that Mary was this sinner who he had cast seven devils and now she is a witness for His resurrection.  That is to say, Jesus is ready to appear to all seeing her experience of devil being cast out and now another experience of seeing the risen saviour. She was privileged with this merciful situation which we can also have our own encounter with Jesus this season. Regardless of the extreme form of sin, we can be delivered and see our risen king. This reminds us of the thief at the cross that was forgiven.  Jesus has always been passionate about sinners and he is ready to appear to us even today. John.20:14 And when she had thus said, she turned back, and saw Jesus standing, and know not that it was Jesus. Friends, turn and watch out for His presence because He is just by you.  

Interestingly, His deliverance is for all, so, desire his appearance today concerning that issue of your life and you will share your testimony immediately in Jesus name.   Also, remember our level notwithstanding, we can encounter the risen saviour. For instance, his visit to Sarah left her a child and many with healing. What is your heart desire today? In this resurrection season, open up for His appearance as he did to the disciples and you will experience the turnaround God still at work in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, help us not to doubt your appearance but embrace Jesus this resurrection morning as many heard but did not believe in Jesus name.
