Text: Psalm 122:1 (KJV)
I was glad when they say, let us
go into the house of the God.
There is an attitude we should develop with
an opportunity into God’s house. David saw it as a lifestyle to be glad and not
sad because it is a privilege to be with the king of kings. Have you seen how
excited people are having been booked for an appointment with the president of
a nation? Seeing yourself visit the God of the whole universe should be an
adventure that should blow your mind. It is a time of intimacy with God the
father, the Son and the Holy Ghost which should live us with huge satisfaction even
before the agenda of the meeting. There should be joy and rejoicing placing
your feet at the gates of the house of God on daily bases. This is an understanding
that made the psalmist say in Psalm 100:4 Enter into
his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto
him and bless his name. But with the visit to a president, their gates
have restrictions but with our God, there is an open invitation for all because
He is good and merciful.
Interestingly, David rejoiced with the
invitees to the house of God that is the extent of his gladness knowing there
are benefits packaged in that visit. Friends, there should be inner strength
and not fatigue going to God’s house because many are getting weary. The
pleasure to the house and the profits are uncountable, so enjoy it today.
Friends, It is time to leap for joy by the access to the holy of holies in
Jesus name.

1. Thank God for the privilege to always
enter into His house with an unexplainable gladness in Jesus name.
