My hope is in God

 

 

Text: Genesis 41:16(KJV)

And Joseph answered Pharoah, saying, it is not in me, God shall give Pharoah an answer of peace.

 The answer of peace is truly not in us, like Joseph recognized before Pharoah that he is handicapped without God because our sufficiency is JESUS.  The truth is, it takes a lot of humility to recognize the hand of God in your gift or talent and not try to take the glory to your self effort.. From our scripture above, we can see that Joseph knew he had no power to interpret dreams, which made him wholly depend on the influence and revelation of God. Although, he knew God was helping him, he never tried to take the glory. We can see that he clearly expressed that it is not in him but in God’s deposit of ability in his life.

2Corinthians 3:5- Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God.  In the case of Joseph, he had been in the process of preparation and equiping before he got to the high position of being a Governor. He passed through all those trials and temptations so that he can be so equipped for the position God had for him.-Remember, for you to get that position set up for you, there is  a sacrifice attached, so endure to the end. Brethren, always remind yourself, it is in God concerning that matter and not in us as God will help us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father help us to be sensitive to answer that stubborn situation that it is possible with God in Jesus name.
