Tongue of fire and correction

 

Text:Job22:28 (KJV)

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

Do you know you are the best Prophet of your life? Don’t joke with what proceeds out of your tongue because what you say is what the Lord confirms. Remember you are prophesying to your life as you declare the Word of God to any situation. It is a vital tool that we as believers need because it often gets us aligned with our heavenly order, and this leads to us getting or commanding our blessings. It is a new year and your mouth is not on RENT, make good use of it.  There is always an assurance attached to any prophetic decree, and our assurance is GOD. He has given every one of us authority and power in our tongue, which the enemy cannot gain say and we are meant to use them to command, declare, and decree our expectations. Be careful not to cage your life and destiny because of careless speeches. If you think that it is hard to prophesy, you can start by declaring or decreeing some powerful scriptures into your life and your vicinity. Matthew 16:19- And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Please, let us learn to be careful by commanding our day and bending those rules by prophetic declaration to our favour.

One mistake many people tend to make is that they forget that the tongue is a very powerful tool, or should I say powerful weapon. It says in Proverbs 18:21a- Death and life are in the power of the tongue. That shows us that our tongue has power, so we should never proclaim or speak negative words because we will end up prophesying those words into our lives. So, no matter the level of difficulty or challenge you might be in, always remember to speak positive things into that situation. Friends, confront that situation with confidence today and you will alter the plan of the wicked by that prophesy. Welcome to a new season and see your life turnaround, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Oh lord, may my words be WORD-BASED, so that it can mould my world and the things around me, in Jesus name.

2. Father, may every negative declaration standing against my life be erased by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.
