Text: Act3: 3-4
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the
temple asked an alms. An Peter, fastened his eyes upon him with John, said Look
on us (KJV)
Interestingly, Peter and John had this routine of going to the temple to pray. But this situation they mate was an opportunity to show and express the gift of God in them. Remember, there are needs around you but God has bestowed in us the vital skills to be of help. We should learn not to hud it because it was given to us for free beyond silver and gold. For instance, Joseph demonstrated his worth as a dreamer; Dorcas, in giving of alms, Deborah as a judge etc. The society is in need, so let’s contribute what we have by giving a helping hand to someone feeble feet today.
Therefore, there is need for personal encounter and not group experience that will help you to exploy your worth which distinguishes you from the crowds in the temple. Do not be intimidated by other people's endowment because you have a part to contribute. There is a deposit of God's gift in you, and your generation is waiting for it. Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Do not forget that you are an answer to someone's prayer. Friends, many opportunities are still ahead, so look out for them because Act20:35b It is more blessed to give than to receive. It brings greater Joy when you are on the giving side than on the receiving end. So, be encouraged because there are privileges presented to us daily, and we should not allow them to pass us by in Jesus name

1) Thank you Jesus for so many virtues you have endowed us with, may we not fail you in Jesus name.
