Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
There is an act someone does, that can stand as a memorial for life, either positive or negative. Certain people stand as a structural seed for one to keep in mind at times of challenges. Even that revelation from God can also be a memorial for life and become a pointer for your turning point. There is a seed of service that can put you in the Guinness book of record. For example, a woman broke the Alabaster box, and her action has made her known wherever the Gospel has or shall be preached all over the world. What this woman has done, shall be spoken about as a memorial of her. We can also do a thing that the world can remember us for life.
Today, people are sowing evil seeds of remembrance, while others are sowing good seed. Sis Leah, the female student who was captured by Boko haram in Nigeria, because of her fervency in her faith, she is now on the list for good. Some might murmur and assume that the seed is a waste because of the expensive perfume which she poured on Jesus, but instead let us live a life that people shall see and flow with together; a life of positive influence on the society. I am asking now, “What is your seed of memorial in your church, or among your friends, colleagues, and family?” This little circle can eventually announce one to the global world. It is something that cannot be denied. God will help us to pursue a seed of proper memorial despite the current evil memorials we hear and witness in this generation, in Jesus name.
Acts 10:4 - And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said,What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. Some things will stand as a sign, but that will be a covenant to remember God’s faithfulness in your life and destiny in Jesus name. I urge us today to look out for something that will bring attention to God and will also stand as a memorial to your generation. It might not be so big, and you can sow a seed of memorial in the sanctuary of God or in the life of an individual. That prayer point can be a memorial or an act that can bring a turning point for you. The seed Esther sowed as a slave girl, stood as a memorial to the Jews, so therefore, you can sow in a strange land no matter your age or gender.  Many have done it; you are the next online.
PRAYER POINTS:
1) Lord, I want to drop a memorable landmark for my generation through my service, in Jesus name.
2) Father, help me to erase negative memories in the heart of my environment by developing a better one, in Jesus name.
3) Holy Spirit, please help my seed to make a mark of announcement for me, in Jesus name.
