The Thriving Believer

Text: Psalms 92:12-13 (KJV)

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Have you ever noticed the refreshing growth of trees planted by the riverside? These trees never experience drought no matter the seasons. Beloved, I urge us to relax in the Lord despite the proud waters.  Psalm1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The palm trees and cedar trees are resistant to waves because of how they are made up. This composition makes their roots to be deep, so that they can have direct access to water. The same goes for us as believers, we need to be deeply rooted and nourished in Christ, so that we can thrive rapidly as the Holy Ghost has imputed grace in us. It is a Christ-like lifestyle with tender and amazing benefit in this kingdom. Actually, no seed can germinate if it is not planted in the right environment. Some environments can cause stunted growth, while some can make your seeds flourish. When you are planted in the court of the Lord, you will definitely flourish in Him, so stay planted in His courts. Friends, this is your best season ever in Jesus name.

The bible promises are basically for you the righteous, because the wicked are like the worthless chaff which the wind blows away. The righteous one in this context is the person who is willing and sincere about accepting Jesus Christ as LORD and following His leading. The righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed in us as we are now walking in the newness of life. Proverbs 11:28- He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. We should develop the habit of living a healthy lifestyle. The amazing part is that the believers have strength and endurance grace despite the harsh weather because Christ nature in us. Friends, we shall remain relevant even at old age to serve God as we are nourished in the Lord to grow like lilies and olive trees with fragrances all around. So do not give up on yourself, you can thrive again as a believer in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINTS: 

1.Oh Lord, please help us to be planted in the garden of the Lord for continous supply in Jesus name.

2. Father, may I not be malnourished in my spirit, soul and body for my fruit to abide in Jesus name.
